This is a dance film that I worked on with my classmate Mia Williams for our final project in our Creative Technologies class. Our assignment was to pick a spot within Sullivant Hall, the dance department building, and to redefine the space by making a dance film. We chose the wall outside of the 1st floor entrance. It is a concrete wall covered in vines that have grown into the wall over time. We were intrigued by the way that the vines almost invade the wall's space and capture it as their own. We wanted to represent the vines and their entangling quality, but also represent the wall and its stability even though its being tangled by vines.
